A Polish marriage is no different than any other marriage. Because Poland is basically 90 percent Catholic, the ceremonial marriage is consecrated by the Church. The marriage begins when the couple face the priest who performs the wedding. The objective of the wedding is to unify the couple in holy matrimony.
